JEAN-MARIE COUTURE

MASTER GUNSMITH

“Little John” as his friends call him was born in St. Martin, PQ and was employed by Colt for 48 years. There he was an assembler for 20 years, performed warranty work for the next 20 years, and then was in the custom shop for the last 8 years of his tenure. His experience in the manufacture of guns ranges from various wheel guns such as the I-Frame Python, E-Frame Trooper, D-Frame Detective Special, P-Frame SAA, the semi automatic pistols including the 1911 and Woodsman, and also M16 platform rifles. With his many years of experience, he is perhaps the most knowledgeable revolver gunsmith of these types of guns in the country.
