Firearms are a part of our American heritage and history. They are sport, art, tools of the trade, and more. In the measure of the blending of all of those, few things compare with the Standard Manufacturing 1911.
The progeny of the 1911, John Browning’s brainchild, has taken forms and iterations that stagger the mind. Of those, the Standard Manufacturing 1911 is an evolution of art and engineering without parallel. The fit, the finish, the meticulous details all culminate in one package where beauty and function compete for first billing.
For one who grew up and grew old with the 1911, there is no better example than the Standard Manufacturing 1911; a treasured keepsake in the light of day and, in the night, a shield that will function faithfully, flawless, when the worst of circumstances is afoot.
What better testament to could there be to the melding of a time-tested design and 21st century engineering than the Standard Manufacturing 1911? I, for one, know of none.

If this pistol shoots anywhere near as good as it looks, feels, and operates, it is will be the nicest 1911 that I have owned, ever! The nickel finish is like glass, the trigger is like glass, the assembly looks like it was done by Santa's elves and then inspected by Santa himself before delivery. Honestly, I've purchased 1911's that were much more expensive, but I have never seen or held one that is this close to perfect. The only task I've got left is to shoot the gun, and if it shoots as nice as it looks, it will be perfect!!
